1. Delete in the app (recommended)
This is the fastest way to schedule full account deletion.
- Open Zoí PetCare Ai and sign in with the account you want to delete.
- Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Delete account.
- Confirm deletion. You’ll be signed out, and your account and associated data are scheduled for permanent removal after a 30-day grace period.
2. What gets deleted
When deletion completes, we remove or anonymize account data tied to you, including where feasible:
Account & profile
Sign-in identity, display name, profile photo, and account settings.
Pets & care data
Pet profiles, routines, nutrition logs, reminders, walk sessions, and health records you stored.
Social & community
Friend links, messages where feasible, public summaries, and live location documents.
Uploaded files
Photos and health documents associated with your account in cloud storage.
Some information may be retained longer when required for legal compliance, security, or short-term backups — as described in our Privacy Policy.
3. Delete only some data
You usually don’t need to delete your whole account to remove individual items:
- Remove or edit a pet in Settings → Pet Profiles.
- Delete health documents from Health → Records.
- Turn off Nearby Friends / community visibility in Privacy & Security.
- Clear or disable reminders from Pet Reminder.
4. Request deletion by feedback or email
If you can’t open the app, or you want help deleting some or all of your data without using the in-app button:
- In the app: Settings → Help & Feedback → Send Feedback, and clearly ask for account or data deletion.
- Or email contact@zoípetcareai.com with subject Privacy Request – Data Deletion.
- Include the email address linked to your Zoí account so we can verify it’s you.
We process verified requests within a reasonable time — typically within 30 days where required by law.
5. After deletion is final
Once the grace period ends and deletion finishes, signing in again starts a new account. Previous pets, records, and messages will not return.
For more detail on rights, retention, and how we handle data, read the full Privacy Policy.
